The Drawing Project UK, based in the beautiful Bridge House next to Trowbridge Rail Station, which was built in 1929, the Project complements the building perfectly. This is a non-profit centre for drawing and contemporary art.
The centre provides unique and travelling exhibitions throughout the year as well as events that include drawing, poetry and colour workshops, life drawings, drawing sessions. Drawing discussions take place welcoming artists to come and discuss exhibitions as well as performances. Girl Friday breakfast, which is held monthly, aims to provide a friendly space for girls and women to meet, chat, discuss and support each other. Inspiring women speakers are invited along.
When exploring and staying in Trowbridge, we would recommend visiting the Bridge House and grabbing a homemade cake and coffee in Miranda’s Coffee Shop whilst exploring the exhibitions. Miranda’s Coffee shop offers a wide range of refreshments including hot food.
The Drawing Project UK also offer artist space and rooms for hire.
