Facilities Coordinator
12-month Fixed term contract, with the potential to be made permanent
37 hours per week
09:00 – 17:00 Monday – Friday
Salary Scale: 9 – 12
Salary £21,269- £22,571 per annum
The main purpose of the role is:
Working within the Facilities & Open Spaces team based within town council offices, the Facilities Coordinator will undertake a technical assistance role, with administrative duties, supporting the Facilities Manager with a range of duties as set out in the key responsibilities.
The ideal candidate would have/be:
- Strong written and verbal communicational skills
- Experience working in maintenance and/or with contractors
- A strong desire to get things done
- Great planning and organising skills
- Excellent understanding of Office 365 applications
- Tech Savvy along with confidence working in information technology
This role also requires the post holder to open up the council offices at 7.30am at times that the Facilities Manager is on leave, for which time off in lieu may be taken in accordance with the needs of the council.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with a ‘can-do’ attitude, who is willing to embrace a variety of financial duties. Working closely with the finance team, the successful candidate will be supported to bring a creative and innovative approach to maintain accuracy and improve service delivery.

Support the Head of Resources and the finance team and assist them to provide an efficient, organised and accurate finance service for the whole of the council.

We are seeking a Community Sports Coach to work within the Leisure Service Department. The successful applicant will be leading and coaching inclusive, fun and engaging activities that help people of all ages to change their behaviour and maintain physically active lifestyles. The role is based in and around Trowbridge in both education and community settings.
The ideal candidate will be confident and highly motivated with the ability to inspire, motivate and encourage young people through sport. You should have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of sports coaching, along with previous experience of playing a number of sports. An NGB Level 2 qualification is essential.
