Learning and Outreach Apprentice
18 Month Fixed Term Contract
30 hours per week, Tuesday – Friday
£4.30 per hour (£129.00 per week) for all apprentices under 19 years old, or if over the age of 19 and in their first year of their apprenticeship. After turning 19 and having completed the first year of the apprenticeship, salary will be £17,842 (Scale Point 1) per annum, pro rata.
The main purpose of this role is:
Support the Learning and Outreach Officer in the delivery of an exciting and challenging programme of school (and other) workshops, Saturday and holiday workshops, and reminiscence sessions, as well as leading some activities when appropriate.
To ensure that children, young people and adults are encouraged to participate in the activities that the Museum offers, and that they receive varied, exciting and challenging learning opportunities.
The successful candidate will be required to complete Maths and English assessments at Wiltshire College. Confirmation of appointment will be subject to passing these assessments.
On completion of your apprenticeship, the successful candidate will gain a Level 3 Cultural Learning and Participation Officer Apprenticeship
