Finance Assistant

12-month Fixed term contract, with the potential to be made permanent

30 hours per week

09:00 – 15:00 Monday – Friday

Salary Scale:            9 – 12

Salary:                     £21,269 – £22,571 per annum (pro-rata)

We are seeking an efficient, organised, capable individual to join our small finance team.  You will have an AAT Level 3 qualification. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years working a finance role and be willing to take on a broad range of finance duties from processing sales and purchase ledgers

The main purpose of the role is to:

Support the Head of Resources and finance team to provide an efficient, organised and accurate finance function for the whole of the council, addressing a broad range of issues of a finance nature and providing all relevant information to meet internal and external demands.

The main purpose of the role is to

Work within the Neighbourhood Services team and in partnership with the community, the Green Ranger will maintain and enhance the town council’s green spaces, both as public amenities and for their conservation value.

The focus for the position of the Green Ranger is on Green Space Maintenance.

This role also requires the post holder to work some evenings and/or bank holiday weekends, for which time off in lieu may be taken in accordance with the needs of the council.  The role requires significant physical activity.

Facilities Coordinator

The main purpose of the role is to

Working within the Facilities & Open Spaces team based within town council offices, the Facilities Coordinator will undertake an administrative role supporting the Facilities Manager with a range of duties as set out in the key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate would have/be:

  • Strong written and verbal communicational skills
  • Experience working in maintenance and/or with contractors
  • A strong desire to get things done
  • Great planning and organising skills
  • Excellent understanding of Office 365 applications
  • Tech Savvy along with confidence working in information technology

This role also requires the post holder to open up the council offices at 7.30am at times that the Facilities Manager is on leave, for which time off in lieu may be taken in accordance with the needs of the council.

Trowbridge Town Council is looking to recruit dynamic professionals who wish to be a part of our vision for the future of sport and health within Trowbridge.

 

We are seeking 2 Community Sports Coach to work within the Leisure Service Department. The successful applicants will be leading and coaching inclusive, fun and engaging activities that help people of all ages to change their behaviour and maintain physically active lifestyles. The role is based in and around Trowbridge in both education and community settings.

The ideal candidates will be confident and highly motivated with the ability to inspire, motivate and encourage young people through sport. You should have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of sports coaching, along with previous experience of playing a number of sports. An NGB Level 2 qualification is essential.
