You may be asked for further information about your criminal history during the recruitment process. Community Events Assistant

Salary:                        £21,968 – £23,194 per annum

NJC Scale Point:        6 – 9

Hours of work:          15 hours per week

Monday and Wednesday 08:00 –16:00/ Monday is fixed (second day is potentially negotiable)

Status:                         Permanent

 The main purpose of the role is to:

  • Work with Community Event Officer to run a portfolio of Town Council events, work with new partners to facilitate events within Trowbridge.
  • Support local community groups who wish to use council land to ensure a safe and effective event.

Finance Assistant

Salary:                              £23,620 – £24,948 per annum

NJC Scale Point:             10 – 13

Hours of work:                37 hours per week

Status:                              Permanent

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with a ‘can-do’ attitude, who is willing to embrace a variety of financial duties. Working closely with the finance team, the successful candidate will be expected to provide an administrative financial service to support the Council’s finance service delivery.

The main purpose of the role is to:

Support the Head of Resources (HOR) and the finance team, and assist them to provide an efficient, organised, and accurate finance service for the whole of the Council.

Casual Bar & Venues Staff 

Hours offered varies according to event

£10.53 per hour

The Civic Centre is looking for enthusiastic Casual Bar and Venues Staff to join our friendly hospitality team for a wide range of events taking place throughout the year.

The main purpose of the role is to:

Assist the Civic Centre Manager with the provision of bar services during events and functions and to assist with the setting up and/or packing down of equipment.
