 Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide details of all unspent convictions and those that would not be filtered, prior to the date of the interview. You may be asked for further information about your criminal history during the recruitment process. Ranger

 Permanent Role

Department:                            Neighborhoods

Salary:                                   £20,258 – £21,189 per annum

Responsible to:                    Neighbourhoods Services Officer

Based:                                    Trowbridge Town Council, The Civic Centre & Trowbridge Town Councils Green Space Depot, Polebarn Road, Trowbridge BA14

Hours:                                    37 hours per week (rota basis which will include alternate weekends and some bank holidays)

Trowbridge Town Council is looking for an enthusiastic Ranger to join our friendly Neighbourhood Service team.

The main purpose of the role is to:

Work within the Neighbourhood Services team and in partnership with the community, the Ranger will maintain and enhance the town council’s green spaces, both as public amenities and for their conservation value.

The focus for the position of the Ranger is on Green Space Maintenance.

The role requires significant physical activity.

Casual Bar & Venues Staff

The Civic Centre is looking for enthusiastic Casual Bar and Venues Staff to join our friendly hospitality team for a wide range of events taking place throughout the year.

The main purpose of the role is to:

Assist the Civic Centre Manager with the provision of bar services during events and functions and to assist with the setting up and/or packing down of equipment.
