Apprentice Sports Coach

Salary:                           £4.81 per hour ( £144.30 per week)

Hours of work:            15 hours per week (Monday and Wednesday 08:00 –16:00)

Status:                           18 month contract

We are looking for a dynamic professional who wish to be a part of our vision for the future of sport and health within Trowbridge.

The main purpose of the role is to:

  • Support and coach inclusive, fun and engaging activities that help people of all ages to change their behaviour and maintain and physically active lifestyles. The role is based in and around Trowbridge in both education and community settings.

Community Events Assistant

Salary:                           £21,575 – £22,777 per annum, pro rata

NJC Scale Point:          5 -8

Hours of work:            15 hours per week (Monday and Wednesday 08:00 –16:00)

Status:                           Permanent

The main purpose of the role is to:

  • Work with Community Event Officer to run a portfolio of Town Council events, work with new partners to facilitate events within Trowbridge.
  • Support local community groups who wish to use council land to ensure a safe and effective event.

Casual Bar & Venues Staff

Hours offered varies according to event

£10.53 per hour

The Civic Centre is looking for enthusiastic Casual Bar and Venues Staff to join our friendly hospitality team for a wide range of events taking place throughout the year.

The main purpose of the role is to:

Assist the Civic Centre Manager with the provision of bar services during events and functions and to assist with the setting up and/or packing down of equipment.
