HR Support Officer

Salary:                         £19,650  – £20,852 per annum

(This salary is subject to any national pay increase – which is currently being negotiated for 2022-23)

NJC Scale Point:          5 – 8

Hours of work:           37 hours per week; Monday – Friday

Status:                         1 year fixed term contract with potential to be made permanent.

 

We are seeking an efficient, organised, capable individual to join our small HR team.

 

JOB PURPOSE  

The main purpose of the role is to:

Support the Resources Officer to provide a comprehensive, effective and efficient human resources service for the whole of the Council to managers, employees and volunteers under the guidance of the Head of Service for Resources and Venues, by providing a pro-active support service on a full range of HR issues.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised with strong administrative and IT skills. They will be self-motivated, able to work independently on concurrent tasks and be able to meet regular deadlines. The full job description and person specification can be found here

Sports Coach

We are seeking a Community Sports Coach to work within the Leisure Service Department. The successful applicant will be leading and coaching inclusive, fun and engaging activities that help people of all ages to change their behaviour and maintain physically active lifestyles. The role is based in and around Trowbridge in both education and community settings.

The ideal candidate will be confident and highly motivated with the ability to inspire, motivate and encourage young people through sport. You should have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of sports coaching, along with previous experience of playing a number of sports. An NGB Level 2 qualification is essential.

Casual Bar & Venues Staff
